Toosii can rap but he strongly goes with a melodic approach to many of his songs. So much so you might even called him an R&B artist. A few of his songs have reached the R&B/Hip-Hop charts. A couple rap songs on this album include “Meet Me Outside”, “Champs Elysees”, and “New Corvette”. Songs that have more of R&B feel include “She Doesn’t Mind” and “Foxxy Brown”.

Toosii’s biggest record is “Favorite Song” which has made him a household name in the industry and has opened the door to more mainstream artist’s like Kehlani who appears on this album. The two other features on this album come from Gunna and Muni Long. Toosii has a song on this album titled “Fuk You Mean” which immediately makes you think of Gunna’s hit song “fukumean”. This could have played a part in Gunna being the only featured rapper on the album. Gunna appears on the single “Champs Elysees” which might be the best song on the album.

Toosii has been consistent the last few years by releasing a project every year since 2019. 5 years is usually considered a good run for most rappers but Toosii is still only 24. I think he will remain relevant for some time due to his age and unique sound.

Best Song = “Champs Elysees” (Toosii & Gunna)
