Today, Becky Hill unveils her eagerly anticipated second album Believe Me Now? via Astralwerks. This album features her latest UK Top 10 smash Disconnect (with Chase & Status) as well as US Dance Radio #1 hits Side Effects and Never Be Alone (with Sonny Fodera). Becky’s new single Multiply also debuts alongside the albums release. "Believe Me Now?" showcases Becky’s authentic storytelling, candid emotions, and her lifelong dedication to dance music, reflected in a collection of tracks that span themes of love, loneliness, betrayal, and life-affirming bonds. Becky describes the album as a blend of personal experiences and musical influences, emphasizing the euphoria and sophistication in dance music. She says:
When I thought about what had come before now, I realized I was missing a couple of things: specifically, the element of euphoria but also, I wanted to create a much more mature, sophisticated level of dance music in this album. It was an incredibly direct and quick album to write because for the first time I knew exactly what I wanted to say. I’m really proud of this album and of what it says and what it stands for.
"Believe Me Now?" features notable collaborations with artists like Self Esteem on True Colours," a track that tackles the topic of sexual assault. The album also includes Darkest Hour, co-written with MNEK. Fans can look forward to Becky’s extensive 2024 tour, which includes major performances in North America, such as at The Novo in Los Angeles and Terminal 5 in New York.
