"I thought one good night in Philly would cure me, it didn’t. Brooklyn group Bedridden unload emotional wreckage at high volume in their latest single Philadelphia Get Me Through, via Julia’s War Recordings. Produced by Momma’s Aron Kobayashi Ritch, the track tears forward with jarring riffs, turbulent drums, and frontman Jack Riley’s searing confessional vocals. What starts as a desperate plea for relief morphs into an unapologetic diss track layered in disillusionment and 5/4 fury. Riley recalls chasing a toxic relationship and hoping a night away in Philly would clear the fog. Instead, it cracked open a riff-heavy purge, saying:
The song crescendos into damn near a metal track.

Premiered via FLOOD Magazine, the single caps a trio of teaser tracks that have earned praise from Stereogum, The FADER, and The Ugly Hug, each highlighting Bedridden’s affinity for distortion-drenched hooks and emotional volatility. This track is a raw and cathartic new cut from their upcoming debut album Moths Strapped To Each Other’s Backs, out April 11. Pre-order the album now, stream “Philadelphia Get Me Through,” and brace yourself for the unfiltered noise of what heartbreak really sounds like.
