Get ready for the natural world and rural life style! Singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Andi Jane takes listeners on a heartfelt journey with her latest live EP, The Great Peacock Farm. Recorded with her string band in Nashville, the EP offers a raw and authentic portrayal of Jane’s life on her rural Illinois homestead. The collection includes three original songs and a bluegrass-inspired cover of Gnarls Barkley’s Crazy. Each track on the EP showcases her introspective songwriting, from the playful and fast-paced title track to deeper reflections in songs like Teardrop Island and Thousand Little Lies. Through her vivid storytelling and genre-spanning influences, Jane captivates listeners with her unique sound. Andi Jane jokes about her title track and reflects:

When someone’s interested in dating me, I send them this song, so they won’t be offended when I can’t hang out, The Great Peacock Farm. If you find beauty where you stand, you’ll always feel at home.

Jane collaborated with her Nashville-based string band to bring this EP to life, blending bluegrass, country, and even a touch of jazz. Their harmonies and expert instrumentation shine in every track, especially in their bluegrass rendition of "Crazy." Looking ahead, Jane is gearing up for the release of her full-length debut album The Ground Is Changing next year. Rumor has it that she also has exciting projects in the pipeline, from a Dixieland jazz EP to a rock opera! Be sure to listen to The Great Peacock Farm below and get a taste of what’s to come By following Andi Jane online at Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
