It’s about disregarding consequence and opening your legs for disaster. With a voice that commands silence in the noisiest rooms, Sebastian Schub (pronounced Shoob) returns with his latest offering. Ruin Me is a brooding, emotionally charged anthem that bleeds raw intensity. Produced alongside Rob Kirwan, the track envelops listeners in Schub’s deep, tremulous baritone, weaving through a soundscape of dark blues, gripping rock, and unapologetic vulnerability. The single arrives ahead of a trio of sold-out headline shows in Dublin, Manchester, and London. Rejecting the digital-first mentality in favor of raw, unfiltered storytelling, Sebastian shares:
I’m finding my way back to writing songs I enjoy playing live. As an artist it’s so easy to get caught up in trying to please the algorithm. It’s nice to make a record that is written for the overcrowded, sweaty Blues clubs that I grew up in. ‘Ruin Me’ explores this idea of embracing emotional and physical destruction for a brief moment of absolute pleasure.

Unlike his previous releases, Sing Like Madonna and I Can’t Believe We Never Went Out Dancing, “Ruin Me” leans into a heavier, more visceral energy, built for the overcrowded, sweaty blues clubs where Schub cut his teeth. Raised in Hamburg before making his way to London, Schub has honed his craft in the crucible of live performance, proving that authenticity and stage presence still reign supreme in an algorithm-driven world. Stream “Ruin Me” now and catch Sebastian Schu live by following him on TIK TOK, INSTAGRAM, and YOUTUBE.
