Reality bends, fuzz rises, and hearts don’t always land where they’re supposed to. Austin-based alt-rock outfit Farmer’s Wife announce their new EP Faint Illusions. With recent singles Seethe and Mildew already painting a sonic blur of identity, romance, and surrealism, the upcoming project balances chaos and clarity, anchored by swirling guitars, haunting vocals, and a ghostly kind of groove. "Faint Illusions" is an emotional dreamscape, distorted and melodic in equal measure, out May 15th.

Since emerging in 2021, Farmer’s Wife have carved out a space all their own, part gothic lullaby, part alt-rock seance. Their debut EP There’s A Monster hinted at the darkness to come, but "Faint Illusions" pushes further, fueled by sludgy textures, shoegaze sheen, and lyrical introspection. Farmer’s Wife are currently hitting the road this spring with Boston Manor, Spaced, and Ellis, fresh off a buzzed-about tour with Destroy Boys.
