From Heartache To Homecoming, Role Model Is Not From "Kansas Anymore"

On July 19 via Interscope Records, the rising indie-pop sensation Role Model is set to release his highly anticipated sophmore album, Kansas Anymore. Following the thematic trajectory of the debut album Rx, Role Model brings a unique experience to the themes of homesickness, heartbreak, and love. With soul-baring tracks like Deeply Still In Love, produced by Noah Conrad, Role Model draws from his personal experiences as he navigates the emotional landscape. The album's creation process was marked by moments of turmoil and introspection, as Role Model grappled with homesickness and the aftermath of a failed relationship. In the words of Role Model himself:

It was a roller coaster.

"Kansas Anymore" is a nod to Dorothy's iconic line from The Wizard Of Oz, symbolizing a profound sense of upheaval and transformation in his life and showcases Role Model's signature blend of acoustic guitars and angelic harmonies. As anticipation builds for the album's release, Role Model treats fans to the official video for "Deeply Still In Love," directed by Dylan Knight. Paying homage to cinematic classics like Groundhog Day and Coyote Ugly, the video immerses viewers in a whimsical bar scene filled with eccentric characters and escalating mayhem, offering a visual feast for the senses. Watch the official video for "Deeply Still In Love" below and pre-order "Kansas Anymore" here.
