The Country Music Hall Of Fame® and Museum, in partnership with Warner Music Nashville, presents a reimagined release of the box set From Where I Stand: The Black Experience In Country Music. Highlighting a century of musical contributions by Black Americans, this expanded collection features a fourth disc titled Reclaiming The Heritage, showcasing contemporary Black artists in Country and Americana. With insightful essays by recording artists Rhiannon Giddens and Rissi Palmer, the project delves deep into the historical significance of Black artists in shaping the genre. The online experience, now accessible on the museum’s website, offers a treasure trove of music, essays, archival photos, and videos for enthusiasts and educators alike. Rhiannon Giddens remarks:

'From Where I Stand' is a testament to the profound influence of Black artists on the rich tapestry of country music. It’s both a celebration of their contributions and a recognition of the ongoing journey toward inclusivity in the genre.

To commemorate the release, a Concert Celebration, Presented by Amazon and Riverview Foundation, will take place on June 18 at the museum's CMA Theater. Co-produced by Rissi Palmer and Shannon Sanders, the event promises performances by a diverse lineup of artists such as Darius Rucker, The War And Treaty, and more. Free tickets are available for reservation on the museum’s website. The Concert Celebration, coinciding with Black Music Month, offers a platform for artists represented in the box set to showcase their talents live.
