Get back on the horse eight times when you’ve been thrown off seven. This warrior’s mantra lies at the heart of Ghost Hounds’ breathtaking new release, You’ll Never Find Me (Strings Version). Arranged by the band’s own Kristin Weber, this reimagined take brings a haunting orchestral depth to the already powerful anthem of perseverance and self-reclamation. Recorded live at Ocean Way in Nashville, the accompanying music video captures the raw emotion and cinematic brilliance of the song, with direction by the acclaimed Allister Ann . The visuals weave together a narrative of resilience, amplifying the song’s message of rising above life’s challenges with unwavering determination. As lead vocalist SAVNT explains:
The song is dedicated to those who have lost themselves in a person or a situation but have the strength to rise again.
Kristin Weber, whose passion for orchestral arrangements shines brightly in this version, reflects on the process:
Aside from fiddling in a rock band, one of my other great loves is arranging strings for songs. I like working with different voices of an orchestra as if they are different colors in a painting. When SAVNT brought this song to us, I immediately heard the strings version forming in my head—partially inspired by what my bandmates were playing. I’m so grateful that Ghost Hounds trusted me to take us into uncharted musical territories.
"You’ll Never Find Me" serves as a rallying cry for anyone who’s ever felt lost but found the strength to reclaim their identity and power. With its soul-stirring strings and inspiring lyrics, “You’ll Never Find Me (Strings Version)” stands as a testament to Ghost Hounds’ creative versatility and their ability to connect deeply with listeners.
