Dreams distorted, echoes collide—where desire and devotion reside. Phoenix-based shoegazers Glixen return with their sophomore EP, Quiet Pleasures. Across five immersive tracks, the band blends fuzz-laden guitars, ethereal vocals, and poignant lyricism to deliver a brooding yet intoxicating sonic experience. With tracks like all tied up, where swirling distortion crashes into frontwoman Aislinn Ritchie’s emotive delivery, and lick the star, which balances atmospheric fragility with raw intensity, "Quiet Pleasures" marks a bold evolution for the band. Ritchie shared:
‘Quiet Pleasures’ explores change, desire, devotion, sensuality, and lovingness. We used layers of fuzzed-out and gritty guitars to introduce a darker, more intense iteration of Glixen while still capturing the fluttery charm of shoegaze.

Produced by Sonny DiPerri and mastered by Dave Cooley, the EP was recorded at Pale Moon Ranch in Juniper Hills, CA. Fresh off a massive 2024 supporting Interpol, DIIV, Nothing, Turnover, and more, Glixen embark on their first-ever headlining North American tour starting tonight in Las Vegas, with stops at Coachella, Noise Pop Festival, and Freakout Weekender. Listen to "Quiet Pleasures" now and catch Glixen live and experience the next wave of shoegaze revival on FACEBOOK, TIKTOK, YOUTUBE, INSTAGRAM, BANDCAMP, and TWITTER.
