In dreams, we find our truest melodies. After a seven-year hiatus, NYC-based power-popgaze trio Heaven is back with Dream Aloud, their most sonically immersive album yet. Arriving April 4, via Little Cloud Records, the release is heralded by the mesmerizing new single I Need You More Somehow, a layered anthem of longing wrapped in lush reverb and nostalgia. Accompanied by a VHS-inspired music video, the single previews an album steeped in dreamy introspection and hypnotic instrumentation. Vocalist and guitarist Matt Sumrow had to say:

This song balances the feeling of needing more connection while simultaneously being content with the present. It’s equally at home on a California beach or in a smoky nightclub in Glasgow.

Premiering alongside the single, the official video for “I Need You More Somehow” is a nostalgic nod to the grainy aesthetics of 1980s/90s video culture. Shot at the iconic Mercury Lounge in New York City, the video bathes the band in swirling pink and blue lights, encapsulating the hazy intimacy of their sound. "Dream Aloud" was mixed by Jonathan Kreinik, mastered by Christopher Colbert, and features guest guitar by Steve Schiltz on the title track. Stream “I Need You More Somehow,” and be prepare to be transported by the sounds of Heaven by following them on FACEBOOK, YOUTUBE, INSTAGRAM, BANDCAMP, and TWITTER.
