A fire burns where echoes grow, A song of warmth through winter’s woe. NYC-based power-popgaze band Heaven unveils their latest single, The Fire You Know. Featuring Megan LaMarca on cello, recorded by Anthony LaMarca, "The Fire You Know" shifts from Heaven’s signature shoegaze guitars to a lush, orchestral reverie, showcasing their sonic evolution. Accompanied by an official music video filmed in Upstate New York’s ethereal Nowhere House, the visuals enhance the song’s mystique, capturing an intimate and atmospheric escape into belief and longing.
The track serves as the second preview from their upcoming album Dream Aloud, a hypnotic blend of melancholic orchestration and dreamy textures. The band’s ability to weave intricate layers of sound is reflected in the track’s pulsing hi-hats and emotive string arrangements, delivering an immersive experience. Formed by Matt Sumrow and Mikey Jones after extensive touring with Dean & Britta, Swervedriver, Ambulance LTD, and more, Heaven now includes bassist Sonia Manalili.
