LA-based indie pop-rock trio Koyal is set to make waves with the announcement of their highly anticipated sophomore album Breathe In. Breathe Out. The trio introduces their latest project as a reflection on embracing authenticity and breaking free from fear. The band's latest release, Bummer Song, is a warm ode to friendship, paired with a playful and wholesome music video, capturing the essence of Koyal musical charm. Lead vocalist Pooja Prabakaran promises a project that will make listeners both "dance and introspect." Guitarist and co-producer Noah Weinstein shared his excitement about working on the album, saying:

"Breathe In. Breathe Out" is by far the biggest record I’ve worked on. We channeled our shared experiences and tastes to create a signature rich indie pop sound that we are incredibly proud of.

Drummer Henry Wallace adds:

The humor and warmth in 'Bummer Song' are about finding comfort in life’s small misfortunes, much like putting on a new pair of socks after stepping in a puddle.

Produced in collaboration with Philadelphia-based musician Jeff Lucci and Atlanta producers Tony Doud and Desmond Myers, the album showcases Koyal’s evolving sound. The band’s journey from their college basement in Atlanta to national stages has been fueled by their close friendship and shared musical vision. As Koyal gears up for the album release, fans can look forward to upcoming shows, including festival appearances and a tour.
