Lao Tizer Unveils "The Labyrinth" From The Upcoming Album Amplify

Written By: Big C

Acclaimed keyboardist and composer Lao Tizer has just released The Labyrinth, the third song and video from his highly anticipated album Amplify. This instrumental track, enriched by the talents of violin virtuoso Karen Briggs and flute prodigy Danny Janklow, showcases Tizer's ability to push musical boundaries. The song, inspired by Tizer's daughter, captures a complex yet captivating blend of moods, embodying the intricate and soulful essence of his work. Tizer shares:

‘The Labyrinth’ is the last piece I completed for the forthcoming album. I wanted to include a composition that exemplified a more complex suite kind of a piece, which is something I’ve been known for on previous releases. True to its name, this song takes the listener through a myriad of moods and sections of varying complexity. Being that the nexus for the song was inspired by my now 2 1/2-year-old daughter Katya, who was sitting with me at the piano when I came up with the main hook, the track has a very special meaning to myself and my wife. And to have this outstanding ensemble bring it to life so magnificently brings my great joy and pride.

The collaborative effort of exceptional artists, this ensemble’s synergy brings a unique vibrancy to the track, making it a standout piece on Amplify. With Amplify set to release on August 23, Tizer continues to mesmerize listeners with his innovative compositions. As Tizer and his band tour in support of the album, fans can look forward to experiencing these dynamic performances live. Let us know your thoughts on the official audio below.
