Amidst a Milestone Year Larkin Poe, the GRAMMY® Award-winning sister duo of Rebecca and Megan Lovell, have released their latest single, Bluephoria. Marking another high point in an already triumphant year, the Georgia-bred soulful Southern rock, Nashville-based pair continue to captivate audiences with their infectious blend of rock ’n’ roll and blues. “Bluephoria,” released under their own Tricki-Woo Records, is accompanied by an official music video filmed in The Blue Room at Nashville’s Third Man Records. The track blends deep blues with euphoric rock elements showcasing Larkin Poe’s unique ability to turn personal introspection into universally resonant music. Reflecting on the new release, Larkin Poe shared:
Once upon a time: we caught a case of the blues so deep and all-encompassing that it launched us on a euphoric exploration. ‘Bluephoria’ is a rock ’n’ roll rumination on the duality of the human experience; deep down in the quietest place where the bitter and the sweet twine together, and suffering/joy are galvanized into meaning. Take special note of the second verse which was inspired by the words of legendary Memphis bluesman Furry Lewis, who is quoted as having said: ‘Now I know I ain’t a star, but I sure might be a moon.’
The single “Bluephoria” was produced with the help of Third Man Records, adding a layer of authenticity and raw energy to the track. Larkin Poe's live performances continue to be a highlight, with an extensive tour schedule that includes top-billed festival appearances and supporting slots on Slash’s S.E.R.P.E.N.T Festival and KALEO’s Payback Tour 2024. Their new weekly series American Girls with Larkin Poe” on SiriusXM’s Tom Petty Radio further increases their influence in the music industry.
