Chicago's dynamic production duo, Louis The Child, is ready to brighten up your playlists with their forthcoming album The Sun Comes Up. Set to drop on September 20 via Interscope Records, the tagteam Robby Hauldren and Freddy Kennett once again aim to elevate listeners’ spirits with this new project. Today, Louis The Child unveils a new single from the album, Make You Mine, a sun-kissed collaboration featuring Whethan and vocalist Hayley May. This track perfectly captures the duo's ability to blend lighthearted, summery vibes with impactful house beats. The synergy in the studio was palpable, with Whethan reminiscing:
The first time I went to a studio and made music was with Louis The Child back in high school. I’ve since gotten to travel the world with them. This new collaboration shows our evolution.
The duo shared:
We've known Whethan for almost 10 years and he’s like a brother to us. Getting to release another song with him is really special.
Hayley May adds:
Working on this record was a fantastic experience. We created something special that flowed organically from our first collaboration.
To celebrate the album release, Louis The Child will kick off A Day In the Sun, a series of outdoor daytime shows starting in September. These events will feature a variety of special guests, including Whethan, who will join them in San Diego on October 5.
