Hawthorne's storytelling talent shines through in tracks like Night Ride, Where Did I Go Wrong, Neon Wasteland, and Chasing The Moon, which have already garnered attention from top music outlets. Madeline exclaimed:
This collection of songs is the result of taking a leap of faith to branch out on my own and give everything I have to a career as a songwriter and performer. It is moments from the pandemic that would in turn shape me into the woman and artist that I am today. The album is me, but not fully. It is like 11 different versions of me; a woman I could have been, a woman that I have perhaps thought I was, and a woman that I hope to be someday.
The album was recorded at Bear Creek Studios near Seattle.. She will be touring the Northwest and Rocky Mountains this summer, with performances at iconic festivals like Live Oak, High Sierra, and Under The Big Sky, as well as a supporting slot for Paul Cauthen on July 19.
