Maggie Rogers Is So "Sick Of Dreaming"

Written By: Big C

Prepping for her third studio album on April 12th, Don't Forget Me is an intimate reflection on the legacy we create through our relationship by Maggie Rogers. The ten track project was co-written and produced by Ian Fitchuk, Shawn Everett, and Emily Lazar. Now Maggie shares her relationship with the industry with the latest single Sick Of Dreaming. Maggie explains:

I wanted to make an album that sounded like a Sunday afternoon. Worn in denim. A drive in your favorite car. No make up, but the right amount of lipstick. Something classic. The mohair throw and bottle of Whiskey in Joan Didion’s motel room. An old corvette. Vintage, but not overly Americana. I wanted to make an album to belt at full volume alone in your car, a trusted friend who could ride shotgun and be there when you needed her.

After previewing the single last year on tour, Maggie is becoming a firecracker among the industry and crowds. Kicking off on tour May 23rd you can catch Maggie performing at the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival. Find a local tour date here and pre-order your copy of the album here.
