A fleeting touch, a spark untamed, A love unknown, yet unrestrained. Philadelphia-based indie rock quartet Mo Lowda & The Humble unveil their expansive fifth studio album, Tailing The Ghost, set for release on June 20. Recorded entirely on the road in some of America’s most scenic landscapes, the album captures the essence of movement, spontaneity, and raw creativity. The first glimpse into this new era arrives with Canary, a melodic, atmospheric single exploring the tension of new love, driven by irresistible guitar riffs and hypnotic grooves. Written on a fan-gifted Canary Yellow Fender Telecaster and recorded in Joshua Tree, the song reflects the nervous excitement and uncertainty of opening up. Jeff Lucci shares:
The album was written fully on the road, with all of us set up in a circle, feeding off each other’s energy. It was about trusting our instincts—writing and recording quickly without overthinking.

The track is accompanied by a vibrant animated music video, directed by Taras Merenkov. With their signature energetic live show, Mo Lowda & The Humble embark on an extensive North American tour this summer and fall, with festival stops including Boston Calling, Green River, and more. The tour features support from French Cassettes and Illiterate Light and will conclude in their hometown of Philadelphia this November.
