Brooklyn-based psych rock quintet Zebedee is set to release their highly anticipated second studio album, Going Nowhere Fast, on August 2. Known for their energetic blend of neo-psych and desert rock, the band continues to captivate with their unique sound! "Going Nowhere Fast" was produced by GRAMMY-winning engineer Daniel Avila, with songs written by Zebedee Row and Kelsey Van Mook. The album's production features Row and Van Mook's intricate guitar work, and Avila's masterful engineering. The album channels their frustrations into powerful instrumentation and is a commentary on today's world. Row explained:
I was clearly pretty pissed off about the state of this country and all its flaws. But considering I'm not born here but choose to live in this big beautiful dumpster fire of a country, I thought that gave me an interesting perspective to comment on it.
The album’s lead single, For God's Sake, is accompanied by a whimsical music video, giving fans an exciting preview of what’s to come. This project reflects the band's journey and showcases their dynamic musical talents. Zebedee will perform across NYC this summer, with upcoming shows at Alphaville on June 7, Crownhill Theatre on July 7, and Mercury Lounge on August 13. Don't miss out on experiencing their electrifying live performances and connect with Zebedee on Instagram, Facebook, Bandcamp, and Soundcloud.
